We started GreenMarks to make working life safer. GreenMarks creates innovative software to help safety inspection professionals capture their work in a safe and easy way, allowing both inspectors and owners of items like fire extuinguishers, hoisting and lifting equipment and machinery, to collaborate and get the safety status and costs under control.

GreenMarks Trusted Inspections

We set up a new application from scratch, using an Elasticsearch cluster as the main database, that stores every time-based status snapshot of an item as an inspection in an event sourcing mechanism. To prevent even us from tampering with the safety history of items, we implemented a cascaded hash chain over these inspections. The authorization model is based on proven education of the safety inspectors.
